Installs its own dependencies. - **.rpm**: Fedora, openSUSE and the RHEL family. - **AppImage**: any other distribution. Updates itself through the .zsync file. - **AUR**: `omniget-bin`, maintained by the community. ## First launch Most systems open OmniGet right away. Three things can get in the way: 1. 1 **AppImage fails with a libfuse error** (Debian 12+, Ubuntu 24.04+): run `sudo apt install libfuse2`, or start it with `--appimage-extract-and-run`. The .deb avoids this. 2. 2 **Empty window or no sound in players**: install the GStreamer plugins. On Debian and Ubuntu: `sudo apt install gstreamer1.0-plugins-good gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad gstreamer1.0-libav`. 3. 3 **Wayland**: some compositors show rendering problems.
