# Privacy

The OmniGet app sends no telemetry. This site uses no cookies and no third-party analytics and never stores your IP address. It counts visits and downloads in aggregate, and the counts are public at \[/stats\](/stats).

## This site

-   No cookies, no analytics service, no tracking scripts, no fingerprinting. Every file of the site comes from getomniget.com.
-   The web server writes an access log **without IP address, port or cookies**: the page requested, the time, the status, the referring site, the browser's User-Agent and only the first tag of its language (for example `zh-CN`). The log is deleted after 7 days.
-   Every 10 minutes a script turns that log into daily counts: pages viewed, where visits came from, systems, languages, downloads per file, and search-engine and AI bots. Nothing per person is kept, and the counts are public at [/stats](https://getomniget.com/stats).

## Hosting

The site runs on a server rented by the author from Hostinger, in São Paulo, Brazil. Hostinger's network carries the traffic under [its privacy policy](https://www.hostinger.com/legal/privacy-policy).

## What the site keeps in your browser

Two small choices, and only after you make them: the language you pick in the switcher (key `omniget-lang`, so a Chinese browser is not sent to the Chinese home again) and closing the language suggestion (key `omniget-lang-banner`). Neither leaves your browser.

## Downloads

Download buttons serve the files from this site; each download adds one to a public count per file. Links marked GitHub take you to the same files on GitHub, which receives that request under [its privacy statement](https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement).

## Email

Messages to contato@, legal@ and security@getomniget.com are forwarded to the author's mailbox and used only to answer you.

## The app

-   No telemetry, not even as an option.
-   It connects to GitHub to check for updates, to the yt-dlp and FFmpeg download sources, to the sites you ask it to download from, and to the AI provider you configure, if any.
-   The MCP server and the browser extension talk only to 127.0.0.1, on your own computer.
-   The optional house visits and city features use a server run by the author. What it stores will be listed here before this page is final.
