kubuntu deb version: changing yt-dlp version is buggy
when i try to manually select my yt-dlp executable in the nautilus-style file-picker seems to hide it from view. i tried symlinking, copying it to other folders, and still, i can see every file on my system in that file-picker EXCEPT yt-dlp...so weird. I somehow tricked it into working by switching back to managed mode, clicking update yt-dlp, then renaming my more up-to-date yt-dlp executable file to the backup version the app created yt-dlp.omniget-prev.123456789012. then i reverted back to manually managed and clicked one of the previous versions....what's going on here? it's like the app specifically tries NOT to see yt-dlp program files except for the python ones in the ~/local/share/wtf.tonho.omniget/bin/ folder.
sorry its confusing to explain it without a photo. I hope i made sense!
