All shortcuts
This page lists the keyboard shortcuts of OmniGet, grouped by where they work. Pick your system in the sidebar to see the keys for macOS or for Windows and Linux.
Where it is
Press ? anywhere in the app, outside a text field, to open Keyboard shortcuts, a short version of this list. Inside LLM › Threads, ? opens the shortcuts of the threads instead.
Shortcuts
Anywhere in the window
| Keys | What it does |
|---|---|
| ⌘KCtrl+K | Open the command palette (Search). See The app window. |
| ? or ⌃/Ctrl+/ | Show or hide Keyboard shortcuts. |
| ⌃1Ctrl+1 | Go to Home. |
| ⌃2Ctrl+2 | Go to Downloads. |
| ⌃,Ctrl+, | Open Settings. |
| escEsc | Close the dialog or cancel. |
To collapse or expand the sidebar, press ⌃⌘SCtrl+Shift+S.
⌃1Ctrl+1, ⌃2Ctrl+2 and ⌃,Ctrl+, use the Control key on every system, also on macOS. They do nothing in the Canvas, which has its own keys, and they do not fire while you type in a text field.
Home
| Keys | What it does |
|---|---|
| ↩Enter | In the box Paste a link or search: start the download, or search when the text is not a link. |

Global hotkeys
These work from any app, even when the OmniGet window is hidden. Set them in Settings › Downloads › Clipboard & hotkeys, where Record lets you press a new combination. See Clipboard and global hotkeys.
| Keys | Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| ⇧⌘DCtrl+Shift+D | Global hotkey | Downloads the link in your clipboard. | Off |
| ⇧⌘MCtrl+Shift+M | Music download hotkey | Downloads the link in your clipboard as audio. | Off |
| ⇧⌘OCtrl+Shift+O | Opens or hides the Omni window. See Omni, the companion. | On |
If another app already uses the same combination, OmniGet cannot register it and keeps the previous one. Pick another combination.

The full list (pin, snooze, rename, fork, panels and more) is in the threads shortcuts dialog. See Threads.

Browser extension

|---|---|
| ⌥OAlt+O | Send the current page to OmniGet. |
Change it in your browser’s extension shortcuts page. See Browser extension.
Common problems
A shortcut does nothing
- Click outside the text field first: most single keys and ? are ignored while you type.
- In the Canvas, the page keys (⌃1Ctrl+1, ⌃2Ctrl+2, ⌃,Ctrl+,) are off.
- A global hotkey can be taken by another app. Record a different one.
The music hotkey and Pick model clash
In LLM › Threads, ⇧⌘MCtrl+Shift+M is Pick model. When the music hotkey is on, the system-wide hotkey can catch the keys first. Record a different music hotkey if you use both.
